Most functions of the menu bar can be reached through the symbol bar, therefore we only explain additional functions in the following section.

Used to save maps in the online database. As we removed the online database, this is only relevant for businesses we supplied a custom made online database. |

Opens another Easy-Map inside the existing one. This combines the two maps. Hint: Before opening a second Easy-Map, select all existing cards (Ctrl+A). Selected cards can be moved so added cards do not interfere with existing ones.

Exports the text of the selected cards into a text-file. |

|
|
Exports your map into a Word® document. Contrary to the function „export as PNG-Image“ this converts your map into Word-Elements. In order to be able to use this function in Word® you must set the safety options temporarily on “medium” (extras - > macro - > security; close and reopen Word ® for these changes to take effect). After you exported your map, we recommend to set your higher security options back to the original state. |

Exports the map into an image. Save it or copy it to the clipboard (to paste it in other applications). |

In “Edit” you can delete all marked sections, insert a Picture or select all with “Mark All”. |

Speed: With Shortcuts you can get certain routine-tasks done a
lot faster. Ctrl+b:
Sometimes during brainstorming hardly any sufficient place is
available to insert another card at a certain place. Maybe you
wish to move the surrounding cards aside. This is possible with
the shortcut Ctrl+b or the menu-item "Explode in all
directions". Just select a card around which place shall be
made. Then choose the Shortcut Ctrl+b (or Menu-item). Result: The
surrounding cards are slid (respectively 1/4 of the length of the
highlighted card in x direction and 1/4 of the length of the
highlighted card in y direction). If you only wish to move
surrounding cards vertically
or horizontally, you choose Ctrl + Shift + V or Ctrl + Shift +
G. |

This transforms the selected card or picture into a non selectable background. Background cards are cards which “rest” in the background and are not “clickable”. If you liked to move the background picture, you must first make it “clickable” again (alternatively use the Ctrl-key to select). |
